UN Packs

Our UN cartons offer a unique design for the utmost packaging convenience and safety. All packs and overpacks have been tested and certified by an independent DOT and ISTA* approved testing laboratory. All UN gallon packs have not only been UN certified, but ISTA* tested as well. Gallon overpacks and 5 gallon pail overpacks (non-UN) have been ISTA* tested and meet project 1A standards, which simulates shipping in the small package environment. These are the same standards that UPS uses to determine whether a package meets their shipping criteria.

Our line of Heavy Duty UN Gallon Paint Can Packs are rated to hold up to almost 22 lbs. per gallon! These all-corrugated reshippers employ a unique interior partiton that seperates the can from the outer wall of the carton and seperates the cans from each other. These packs work especially well for heavier products, or products that have to ship to distant locations or withstand possible rough handling.

These packs are not only UN-approved, but have been ISTA tested as well. They are approved for shipping by ground, air, and sea. These packs are also suitable to use can clips instead of plastic overseal rings for ground shipments.

Packs consist of heavy 275 lb. test doublewall outer carton, interior partitioning insert with cut-outs for the cans, plastic overseal rings (air, UPS, or ground) or can clips (ground only). Cartons and inserts are shipped flat and take up less storage space than other designs, and are easy to dispose of or recycle.

Our unique all-in-one reshippers are designed so that the flaps of the carton fold down inside to form the interior partitions into "cells" that protect the cans from each other. This is carton is a great time-saver during assembly and its easy. Only one carton! No other interior components or partitions to assemble. It reduces the cost and takes up less storage space. These cartons will hold products that are nearly 18 lbs. per gallon!

These packs are not only UN-approved, but have been ISTA tested as well. They are approved for shipping by ground, air, and sea. These packs must use plastic overseal rings (no can clips).

Packs consist of heavy 275 lb. test singlewall outer carton with flaps that fold in to form the partitions, and plastic overseal rings (air, UPS, ground, or sea). Cartons are shipped flat and take up less storage space than other designs, and are easy to dispose of or recycle.

Our quart UN packs employ the foam end-caps to protect the quart cans. They are approved to hold weights of up to almost 6 lbs. per quart. The quart packs have been ISTA tested in addition to UN tested. They are approved for shipment by air, ground, or sea.

The quart packs consist of an outer reshipper carton, foam top and bottom pads, and a plastic overseal ring (or can clips for ground shipments).

Future plans for quarts will employ similar designs to the gallon "cell-packs".

Our line of Gallon UN F-Style Reshippers are an easy to use all corrugated design. They can hold up to almost 11.5 lbs. per gallon, which is more than enough to hold most solvents and products typically packaged in F-Style cans. They are environmentally friendly and easy to store. The packs are UN and ISTA tested, and are suitable to ship air, ground, or sea.

The packs consist of a heavy-duty 275 lb. test outer carton, and interior partitioning dividers (2 x 1, and 4 x 1 only-the 1 x 1 does not require a divider).

Our plastic overseal rings are used to insure that a paint can's friction-fit lid will remain intact during shipping, especially for air shipments, which requires that paint cans pass an internal pressure test of 95 kPa or higher without leaking. Overseal rings help protect ground shipments, especially those that are long distance or encounter a lot of handling.

We normally stock two sizes-Gallon and Quart. Pint and 1/2 Pint are available upon special request.

Our line of can clips help to insure that friction-fit paint can lids remain secure during shipment. For some of our UN pack lines, can clips may be used for ground shipments in place of overseal rings. We stock can clips in Gallon and Quart/Pint sizes.
